My love for fashion started at a young age. My childhood nickname was Hollywood, and you could usually find me dressed up in my plastic “click-clack” heels, purse on my arm, and sunglasses on my face. By high school, I was deep in Pinterest, planning my outfits for school the night before and always making sure I had the perfect holiday dress or birthday outfit ready to go.

When it came time to get a job in college, working in fashion felt natural. I spent time at Free People and two local clothing boutiques, where I fell in love with the behind-the-scenes side of the business—styling customers, unpacking new arrivals, and seeing how a boutique truly runs. That’s where the dream of Poppy and Pansy began to bloom.

After college, I started sourcing clothes and sketching out logo ideas, but I let fear hold me back. Three years later, I realized the only thing standing between me and my dream was me—and that’s when Poppy and Pansy Boutique officially came to life.
